Lexyta designs, develops, & markets innovative software solutions & services, including cloud-based Learning Management Systems (LMS) & AI-driven Business Management tools. We empower organizations & learners through smarter evaluations, data-driven insights, & future-ready learning frameworks leveraging artificial intelligence & natural language processing.
This Lexyta Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), together with the Lexyta Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”), & any documents referenced therein, governs the relationship between Lexyta & the Customer regarding the access, use, & license of Lexyta related software, services & websites.
Recitals
At Lexyta, we value your privacy & work to ensure a high standard of information protection for everyone. This Privacy Policy applies when the User (also referred to as “you”) accesses Lexyta related software, services & websites (also referred to as the “Solutions”). Lexyta acts as the Controller for the data we collect directly as a consequence of using our Solutions, & as a Processor for data managed by institutional customers.

1. Collected Information
Lexyta may collect the following information, depending on the offering used:
- User Input: Identity & contact information (name, email, phone number, name of organization along with the title within); credentials (usernames/passwords); & billing information.
- Assessment & Learning Data: Responses to questionnaires, risk dimensions, course enrollments, assignment submissions, quiz results, & progress tracking data.
- Automated Data: Technical information (IP address, browser type, device) & usage data (features used, pages visited, settings) collected via cookies & related technologies.
2. Information Usage
The information is used for:
- Service Delivery: Managing your account, facilitating content delivery, & efficient functioning of Solutions.
- Communication: Contacting you regarding project inquiries & technical support.
- How We Use Your Phone Number: We collect phone numbers on our contact forms to contact you about your project inquiry & for ongoing communication regarding your projects with Lexyta. We will not use your phone number for SMS campaigns.
- Development: Improving or customizing existing Solutions & developing new features through research & internal evaluation.
- Promotion: Sending targeted information about new products or features based on your communication preferences.
- Legal & Contractual: Including but not limited to mandatory disclosure, dispute resolution, & contractual enforcement.
If you are an administrator of an organization with a subscription to the Solutions, we will use your details to communicate with you about your organization’s subscription & related services. If you supply us contact information of your colleagues, we may contact those individuals with communications about the Solutions that may include reference to you.
3. Information Sharing
- Within Your Organization: If you access Lexyta through an organization, your personal information & usage data may be accessed by or shared with your organization’s administrators for performance monitoring, usage analytics, subscription management, compliance & cost attribution.
- With application licensor(s): If you access a third-party application on the Solutions through a license agreement with the licensor of that application, personal information relevant to that third-party application may be shared with the licensor so that it can provide you access to the application, subject to the terms of its license agreement & privacy policy.
- Service Providers: We share information with trusted providers, suppliers, agents & representatives including but not limited to, payment processors, customer support, email service providers, event venues & service providers, IT service providers who comply with our confidentiality & security measures.
- Mandatory sharing: We may also disclose your personal information if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary (1) to comply with applicable laws, regulation or legal requests, (2) to protect the rights, safety & property of Lexyta & other persons, (3) to prevent, identify & curate fraud & other security & technical issues, (4) as part of a corporate transaction, such as a transfer of assets to or an acquisition by or merger with another company.
- No Commercial Sale: Lexyta does not sell or lease your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
4a. For Platform User Data
We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. For users connecting with platform accounts, we store data for the duration of your active account.
- Automated Purge: If your account is inactive for 24 months, we automatically purge your stored data from our databases as per the objectives of the Privacy Policy, the recommendations made by regulators & information privacy/security professionals, applicable laws, & other legal obligations to the exception of reasons related to legal obligations, security, fraud prevention & dispute resolution purposes.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion at any time. You can delete your data by:
- Manually removing the data added to the Solutions.
- Disconnecting your connected account(s) via the profile page.
- Emailing a deletion request to contact@lexyta.com. We will delete your data from active servers within 90 days.
4b. For Google User Data
Lexyta’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Retention: We retain Google User Data (such as Calendar events) only for as long as necessary to provide the services requested by the user. Specifically, data is stored for the duration of the user’s active account.
- Deletion: We automatically delete Google User Data from our systems if a user disconnects their Google account or deletes their Lexyta account. Users may also request the immediate deletion of their Google data by contacting us at contact@lexyta.com. We will process these requests within 30 days.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Cookies are used to save user’s preferences & settings, assist the user & provide service activity feedback. The user can control cookies through browser settings & other specialized tools. Blocking cookies may, however, result in reduced or blocked service. We only use first-party which means we DO NOT use third-party cookies.
6. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, please note that we do not have any control over those other websites. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection & privacy of any information you provide while visiting such sites, as they are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution & review the privacy statement specific to the website in question.
7. Security
We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, & managerial measures to protect & secure the information we collect online. While no system is 100% secure, we take all commercially reasonable measures to protect your data.
8. Location of Information
Lexyta is located in the United States, but entities linked to Lexyta are located around the world. If & when your information is transferred outside of your jurisdiction, we will ensure that such information is handled within the frame of this Privacy Policy & in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal information, or object to processing. To exercise these rights, to the exception of reasons related to legal obligations, security, fraud prevention & dispute resolution purposes, contact us at contact@lexyta.com.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time-to-time. All changes will be updated on this page & material changes may be notified to you via email or a prominent notice within the Lexyta platform.
Website Opt-Out & Inquiries
If you believe that any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, please email or write to us at the provided address as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any inaccuracies found.
